Risk Management - Loss Control Session

Running any brokerage is risky so why take chances ... Be sure to attend our upcoming Risk Management/Loss Control session to learn how to avoid certain pitfalls and protect yourself against possible claims.

We will be offering two separate sessions on June 19, 2024 (morning and afternoon) in person at the Capital Hotel.  * To accommodate those brokerages located outside of St. John's we will also be providing the session via webinar *

The morning session will take place from 8:30 am - 12:00 pm and the afternoon session will be from 1:30 pm - 4:45 pm. A nutrition break will also be provided at both in person session.

Please note that these sessions are FREE for IBAN members.

Each session will cover areas of risk, methods to reduce or control that risk, sources of claims and what to do if a claim occurs. Systems and controls will be reviewed along with standard procedures and the role they play in operating a brokerage and in protecting against claims.  Case studies will highlight problem areas, potential solutions and issues such as standard practices.
